have just spent 3 days in majors , have had brain scan . tried to tell them all symptons and you have just described exactley what i have had my face is still a bit droopy though but im sure after a couple of days this will retify its self

Hi Jenny,

The glasses definitely helped! My eyelid almost instantly goes back to normal when I wear my glasses. I also haven’t had any migraines or headaches since I started wearing them. Having said that, everything comes back when I don’t wear my glasses for a long period of time. Guess I’ll have to accept my fate as a four-eyes haha.

Hope glasses will solve your symptoms as well!

Just wondering did the glasses help I have had this on an off for 6 months and it is getting worse. I see a new eye doc this week, if you could let me know I would appreciate it.

Contact lenses should work as well as glasses. The glasses have been great, I haven’t had a headache since and my eyelid doesn’t droop as much anymore. Though it still droops in the morning when I’m tired, but definitely doesn’t droop when I’m wearing glasses. So go get your eyes checked out if you’re experiencing the same thing!

Wow thanks for the update! This has been happening alot and I’ve noticed it happens when I am tired. Would you happen to know if contact lenses work like glasses should? How have the glasses been working out for you?

I had a bad headach yesterday then my left eye start hurting bad!!!i whent to the eye docter last year and he told me i have dry eyes.my eye ant getin oil in them.can that be the reason my eye hurting?

I have exactly the same problem, prolonged migraines accompanied by my right eye lid drooping and all of the other symptoms and sometimes my whole right side of my face looks really dodgy, especially when I’m very tired. I am going to see my doctor about it now as its happening too often. I have to add though, I do have botox because I’m vain! and am well aware that it could be due to this but I have a feeling that its the migraines causing it. I’ll keep you posted as to what the quack says.

hi you guys. just to let you know….the eye drooping accompanied by the drooping eye is a rarer form of migraine. i have had them since early childhood and no pain medication would ever help. my neurologist finally put all of my symptoms together and said…wow…you have what is called left hemorrhogenic (sp?) migraines. its a very rare form. it does not respond to narcotics…yeah…i knew this already. so…i get the exact thing…headache and funny looking eyes. always the longer the migraine the droopier the left eye. be wary….this form of migraine also has a higher chance of a migraine “stroke” just like that newcaster lady had happen a few months ago. i did have this “stroke” at 16 years ago. it scared me to death. hope this helps. I have a neurologist i see at least once a year.

Thanks for commenting. Make sure you drink lots of water and have plenty of sleep/rest. Take some panadol to help with the migraine. If you’ve had a migraine for 5 days you should definitely go see a doctor. Hope you get better! Would appreciate it if you could share what the doctor said.
