The great thing about the clubs and bars in Hong Kong is that they’re all located in one spot called Lan Kwai Fong, which is only a minute walk away from Central Station. Central station is located on the blue line on the MTR Map.
From my recent trip to Hong Kong, I’ve put together a list of things to do, what to do and places to go in Hong Kong. I hope this helps you plan an awesome trip to Hong Kong!
First, we’ll take a look at the MTR Map (I would recommend you to print this off as it’ll help you get a better understanding of the suburbs)

1. First thing you have to know is that if there isn’t a price tag on an item, they’re open to bargaining (even if there’s a price tag on it, there’s no harm in asking for a lower price!)
2. NEVER buy the first thing you see as they’ll most likely be another shop down the street selling the exact same thing for half the price or less! ALWAYS shop around before purchasing, you’ll be shocked as to how much the price can fluctuate for the same item from one store to another.
2. The price they offer you will always be 3 times more than what it’s worth, if not more! The reason is they know you’re not a local, which also means they know you earn money in another country which has a far greater currency. They know that even if they mark up their price by 300%, you’ll still think it’s cheap in comparison to buying stuff in your own country cause of the exchange rate.
3. Knowing that, you won’t feel like a “cheap tight arse” and bargain til you’re happy with the price and think it’s worth that much.
4. Best way to bargain is to ask yourself what you think that item is worth, once you know, simply tell them you’ll pay how ever much you think it’s worth. They’ll most likely say “nnnnooooOOOOO!” and come back with a ridiculous amount that’s no where near your offer. If that happens, simply say “nah too expensive” and walk away. If your offer was reasonable, they’ll come after you within 3 seconds of walking away. If not, that probably means that your offer was too close or even below their profit mark. At least that’ll give you an idea of how much that item’s worth, and using that to your advantage, find the next store that sells that item and increase your offer to the next reasonable price you’re willing to pay.
I’ve just been on a short trip to Melbourne and wanted to share with you all the efficient and convenient Sky Bus. I highly recommend all travelers to Melbourne to take the the Sky Bus if they’re staying in the city CBD. Just look for the bus signs when you arrive at Melbourne Airport and you’ll see the Sky Bus conveniently waiting outside with a ticketing booth. It only costs $26 for an Adult return trip (which can be used within 3 months). The Sky Bus will take you directly to Southern Cross Station (20 minutes from Tullamarine Airport). Here’s the great part, they then offer to take you directly to your hotel free of charge on a different bus! Upon arrival at your hotel, you can organise with the reception to book a Sky Bus hotel pick up on your departure date.
So why spend so much on taxi’s (which costs roughly $45 one way from Tullamarine Airport to the CBD), when you can pay $26 for a return trip from your hotel?!
